Next: real Windows inventory
The next milestone is read-only discovery of installed desktop programs from Windows registry records. It is intended to show where each program is installed and make missing information clear.
Live discovery is not available in the current preview. The application list currently shows sample records.
Planned: uninstall and review
The planned workflow is to launch supported vendor uninstallers, refresh the inventory afterward, and offer a read-only review of potential leftovers.
Uninstall and cleanup are not available in the current preview.
Later: recoverable cleanup
Cleanup is a later milestone. The aim is to let you review proposed changes, keep selections unchecked by default, and preserve personal documents, application profiles, shared runtimes, and uncertain matches.
Microsoft Store packages, batch uninstallation, installation monitoring, and advanced registry cleanup belong to later milestones. There are no published delivery dates.
Local-first direction
LEU is being designed to handle core discovery and cleanup locally, without an account or a cloud service. Those capabilities are still in development.
